They will assist with your luggage and drive you to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport (XIY). The journey typically takes 45-60 minutes, depending on your hotel's location and traffic. Check in at the airline counter for your flight to Lhasa. You will be required to show your Tibet Travel Permit at this point. Your Tibetan guide and driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name. They will assist with your luggage and drive you to your hotel in Lhasa city. This journey takes about 60-75 minutes. About Tibet Travel Permit The Tibet Travel Permit application is typically handled by a registered travel agency in China on behalf of the travelers. You will need to provide specific information and documents for the application process. Restrictions: The permit allows you to visit certain areas of Tibet, but may have restrictions on independent travel.
